Position Available: Recovery Coach
HOURS: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health or related field. CADC or LPC preferred; plus two years of experience in Behavioral Health or Chemical Dependency programs. Must have thorough knowledge of the disease of alcoholism/addiction and its application to patient care. A good working knowledge of evidence based treatment practices for Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health conditions is required.  Person must be in recovery from Substance Use Disorder or Mental Health condition.  Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) a plus.  Person must be willing to travel using company vehicle to meet with the patient, which may include their home etc.   Person must be willing to acquire additional licenses as mandated by public and commercial payers. Must have valid driver’s license and minimal auto insurance.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Good organization skills, ability to use logical thinking to solve problems.  Good short-term memory, verbal communication skills, ability to provide and follow effectively written and verbal instructions.  Ability to effectively monitor and develop subordinates when applicable.  Ability to successfully complete training and perform C.P.R.  Ability to perform light physical work exerting up to ten (10) pounds of force on an occasional basis.  Good driving record and driving skills required. Sitting, standing, walking short distances are activities that the Recovery Coach I must perform.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma;* Two years’ experience in accounts receivable and credit and collections.  Must be able to file accurately, both numerically and alphabetically.  Must have a working knowledge of the computer software that is required to perform assigned job duties such as Excel, Access, and Microsoft Word.  Must be able to type with speed and accuracy (35 to 50 w.p.m). Ability to operate fax machine, calculator and duplicating equipment.  Must have valid driver’s license and minimal auto insurance.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficient in mathematical skills.  Good short-term memory, good hearing and visual acuity sufficient to accomplish job responsibilities.  Good hand dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment.   Excellent organizational skills.   Ability to perform light physical work, exerting up to ten (10) pounds of force on an occasional basis.  Sitting, standing, walking short distance are activities that the Billing/Data Entry Clerk must perform.

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field. Must have Illinois Certification in substance abuse or become certified within two years of working in the chemical dependency field; plus one or more years experience in behavioral health or chemical dependency preferred.  Must have a thorough knowledge of the disease of alcoholism/addiction and its application to patient care.  Must have valid drivers license and minimal auto insurance.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Good organizational skills, ability to use logical thinking to solve problems.  Good short-term memory, good verbal communication skills, ability to provide and follow effective written and verbal instructions.  Ability to effectively monitor and develop subordinates when applicable.  Ability to successfully complete training and perform C.P.R.  Ability to perform light physical work exerting up to ten pounds of force on an occasional basis.  Sitting, standing and walking short distances are activities that the Residential Addiction Counselor must perform.
