HOURS: 
(7:00 am until 3:00 pm, Mon–Fri, hours may vary
according to program needs)

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Counseling, Addictions, Social Work or related field.  Must have CADC or LPC (LCPC/LCSW preferred).  A minimum of three years’ experience in chemical dependency and mental health. Must have two years supervisory experience required; must be able to effectively and competently supervise staff and overall treatment of patients; must have medical experience and knowledge to recognize the signs and symptoms of serious or potentially threatening illnesses or behaviors.  Must have experience in completing substance abuse and mental health assessments.  Experience with electronic medical records a plus.  A valid driver’s license and minimal auto insurance required.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Good organization skills, ability to use logical thinking to solve problems.  Good short-term memory, verbal communication skills, ability to provide and follow effectively written and verbal instructions.

Ability to effectively monitor and develop subordinates, as well as to retrieve information from policy and procedure manuals. Ability to successfully complete training and perform C.P.R.  Ability to perform light physical work exerting up to ten (10) pounds of force on an occasional basis.  Sitting, standing, walking short distances are activities that the Coordinator of Central Intake must perform.

Master’s degree in Counseling, Addictions, Social Work or related field.  Must have CADC or LPC (LCPC/LCSW preferred).  A minimum of three years’ experience in chemical dependency and mental health. Position Available: Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Masters’ Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field*; and two years of supervised work experience in Mental Health.  LCPC or LCSW required with State of Illinois Licensure.  Excellent working knowledge of evidence based treatments for substance abuse and mental health conditions. Must have valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Must pass background clearance check.

Under the administrative supervision of a Program Director, works effectively as a team leader, interfacing with patients, mental health counselors, consulting psychiatrist and medical director in providing treatment for individuals.   Provide integrated treatment, if necessary for individuals with mental disorders and substance use disorders both as a team leader and counselor.   Is able to complete a quick and accurate differential assessment of mental health and substance abuse conditions.  Ability to implement and train staff with effective evidence based modalities for treating mental illness.  Assist treatment care teams in managing patients with mental health problems.   Has “on call” responsibilities.  Assesses patients’ mental status through interviews and observations, develop treatment plans and make referrals to the appropriate level of care.    Provides education, individual and group counseling to assigned patients and maintains case records according to standards.  Coordinates efforts with referral agencies.  Establishes and maintains community referral network with local civic and community based service providers. Provides clinical supervision to QMHP staff.

This position is for an Outpatient setting, located in East Hazel Crest Illinois, position is available immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in marketing, social services or academic area pertinent to job responsibilities. Excellent ability to communicate professionally and effectively in writing, orally and through public speaking. Must demonstrate capability to assume multiple and varied projects, work assignments and tasks essential to meeting expectations of position responsibilities. Must have excellent personal relations skills allowing for effective and productive communication and cooperation with a diverse variety of groups, managers, supervisors, colleagues and co-workers. Must be willing to have flexibility with varied work schedules to perform job duties, meetings and work related activities outside normal assigned work hours. Must be willing to travel (generally locally) for work assignments and meetings. Must demonstrate excellent computer and software related skills pertinent to job duties and assignments. Must have a valid driver’s license and minimal auto insurance and be willing to use personal vehicle and receive mileage reimbursement during normal course of employment. Responsibilities include: coordination and provision of numerous community relations activities and assignments; coordination of referral linkage for prospective clients as assigned.

Bi-lingual a plus
